- Oversaw creation of Lynchburg College Learning Center consisting of a networked computer lab, networked computer classroom, quiet study area and collaborative study areas in conjunction with already existing Writing Center and Language Lab.

DESCRIPTION OF STUDIES
I graduated from Old Dominion University in August 1969 with a B. A. degree in Mathematics and a minor in Philosophy. I attended SUNY/Binghamton for one semester before enlisting in the U. S. Navy in May 1970 where I studied anti­submarine warfare and electronics. I returned to graduate school in January 1973 and received an M. S. degree in Mathematics from the College of William and Mary in June, 1974. I received a Ph. D. in Computer Science with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia in May 1979. I have continued my education through formal courses, independent study, attendance at conferences and participation in workshops on a variety of computer topics including networking.
